Bella Bash Training Camp

February 1, 2013

February 1-3rd was the annual Norcal Bella Bash Training Camp held for the 2nd year in our sponsor shop’s home town, Paso Robles.

Events included a reception at the shop, Best Bike Zone, hosted by the owners, the Fleurys; and 3 days of riding and eating.   The weather held for the weekend which is always a good thing this time of year!

Here’s some pictures of all the fun:  http://www.velobellabb.com/view_topic.php?id=2871&forum_id=3

Bellas Take Ithaca Parade by storm!

June 19, 2010

Ithaca, New York, June 3rd, was the site of Flair Capital, at least for a few hours.  The NY Bellas, primarily Ithaca Bellas pulled out all the stops to show folks how it’s done.  For the Finger Lake Cycling Club’s entry into the the often bizarre Ithaca Festival Parade, several notorious Bellas set the bar high in terms of costuming and frizzle-frazzle.  We managed to get some extra miles in by circling our section of the parade like vultures, though this was not exactly a real intense training ride…

Velo Bella Hosts Costume Cross!

November 10, 2009

On Halloween Day, Velo Bella hosted its traditional costume cross race in Northern California. This time around, the Bella party invaded the Watsonville Fairgrounds. There were witches, and ghosts and gobbles and such. NorCali photographer Jon Suzuki captured some of the crazy hijinx. Scroll down and enjoy the fun!

Notice those cute little avatars in our blog comments? Those are called Gravatars and you can get them here:

http://en.gravatar.com/

A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs?

Signing up for a gravatar.com account is FREE, and all that’s required is your email address. And the website will even help you make your little avatar.
