Well, since I do the website, I didn't want to have a months w/o Ride Reports. So...
1 - Yes, the land really was beautiful with colorful, smelly (odipherous) wildflowers! Gorgeous!
2 - Weather was perfect, a little cool and only 63 degrees climbing Metcalf! No big deal this year!
3 - Since we ONLY did 100 miles and cut it short this year by not doing the Double Metric (124 miles), Gordon decided we'd pick up the pace the last 20 miles and hammer home for a workout. Suenago made the mistake at mile 80 of saying she felt good!
4 - Elizabeth though she'd take a shortcut to save her legs for Wildflower training the next day. Cutoff where? She didn't know.
5 - 100 miles, 5 hours, 54 minutes! Really!!
